    Biography
Funny enough George started his acting career on a television program named E/R a decade before he dawned the scrubs as paediatrician Doug Ross, he continued to do television through the 80's on shows like Facts of Life and Rosanne. His first film was the B-film classic Return of The killer Tomatoes! Later after the success of Michael Crichton’s ER, George met Quentin Tarantino who had signed on to helm one episode, and it resulted in Clooney’s first starring role in the movie From Dusk Till Dawn. Soon offers were flying in and with films like One Fine Day and The Peacemaker, Clooney had no time for television (except for producing TV’s South Park). Soon George (after capping off the Batman franchise) was handed important roles with great directors, Out of Sight, The Thin Red Line and Three Kings were all critically acclaimed. Later, in the Coen brothers O Brother, Where Art Thou? George went back to his Kentucky roots and received a golden globe nomination. Now George has teamed up again with (Out of Sight director) Steven Soderbergh for the Oceans Eleven remake.
